Supporting Technologies in the area of Computers, Desktops, Servers, Networks
Over the years, I have encountered a vast number of problems that need solutions to either repair or improve the current technology that's limiting the correct performance of the system that's not running up to pare as it should be.
I've touched upon many technologies from routing and switching to active directory domains, to VoIP. It's the same but different. One of the underlying common principals for diagnosing and troubleshooting all these technologies is a basic understanding of their functionality and a thorough understanding of what can impede their performance.
kyocera admin login default
kyocera admin login default - access configuration settings.
kyocera admin login defaultDefault admin password used to access the administration module.
Default admin password for many kyocera copier/fax/scanner. It is not blank by default as you have probably already found out and one of the reasons you wound up here.
I needed to change the user names displayed on a copier for a customer. The names displayed were thiose that could be selected to scan documents to their desktops or for emailing. The user names that appeared for the most part were accurate but there had been some staffing changes and so the list had changed and so several user names displayed on the system had to be changed. When trying to go into the configuration settings on the display panel of the copier/scanner/printer, you will be prompted to enter the admin password code. This worked for me, first two digits of the model + 00
More people can find this information about the default login for kyrocera by linking to this page or publishing it in other ways. Bookmark, blog, or use other publishing sources and services like social sites so others can find this page faster. Most all of us have been under the gun and know that finding needed information fast is key.
StoreVault By NetApps Opinion.
StoreVault RackMount NAS Storage Appliance.
The Storevault by NetApps would have been better served had the line not been purchased by NetApps. The rack mount network storage solution was doing well and was feature rich. It had iSCSI, inexpensive SATA drives, up to 12TB capacity, hot spare drive configuration,. RAID, and a ton of other features including active directory integration, Unix integration, capability for SCSI channel, and a whole lot more. What has happened to this line has been that it has been discontinued. I know of several unhappy customers. One of the worse things about the discontinuing of the product line is also the problem of trying to get more drives for currently installed units. If there is a drive failure or an unfortunate owner of the the storevault needs to add drives to increase capacity, getting drives is nearly impossible. The wait if they are even delivered is very very long. They do not allow drives from other vendors,. The drives need to have special serial numbers for them to work within the network storage appliance.
Remote Support Software
The bottom line and the reason why I added this module to this lens is for anyone who may have come accross this site while looking for information or opinions on the NetApps Storevault my recommendation is not to buy it. I forgot to mention there is a problem with the A network port on the 500 units. even if there is a great deal on eBay or other such site, it's not worth the trouble buying into it. You'll be stuck with a problem.

Computer Desktop PC and Server Tech Support
Fetching RSS feed... please stand byVMWare as a Tool for Desktop Support
Desktop Support

A functionality that is often understated when tech support reviewers and writers of publications for technology news and journals discuss the amazing abilities of VMWare, is that it's a great tool to aid in desktop tech support. The images shown, in particular the first image, is that of Windows Vista starting up from an ISO image to be installed.
VMWare workstation can boot from an ISO image to start the installation of another virtual OS. This may not be impressive to some but this is a nice testing facility for developers and network admins to try their customized installations or un-attended installations. Rather than relying on the slowness of a real DVD drive, using a virtual DVD and a virtual machine makes both the test work fast and the results to be presented much quicker for review.
In the case of the image shown above, a Vista install is started from an ISO installation image from a real DVD. To make it more impressive, it was done from a network share. This particular computer desktop did not have its own DVD drive installed nor was there a USB or other external connecting device available for the installation.
The way to start an installation in VMWare from an ISO image is fairly simple. Create a new virtual machine in VMWare, give it a name and the default machine settings but don't start the VM yet. Before starting the newly created virtual machine, choose to edit the devices. Click on the option to use an ISO image them click browse. Locate the ISO copy of the DVD installation media for the new virtual desktop computer that's to run the additional operating system and click OK. Then just click to start the virtual machine which will then start the installation of the operating system.
Software for PC Remote Support
Desktop Remote Support
PC Tech Support. One of the images in the section above show a server for dekstop printing that's an affordable alternative to the more pricer solutions for adding or converting a USB printing device to the netwoprk for access via TCP/IP loaded desktops.Image depicts how easy it is to select the server from a list (if there were more thatn one of these servers on the LAN). Another interesting fact about this server is that although the configuration interface and setup of the network device isn't entirely designed and presented for an IT department of support group with large amounts of printing devices (information technology and enterprise wide deployements), it's more than usable and very viable in network enviroenments larger than those found in the avergae home based setup. SMall offices can benefit greatly with this type of solution as the cost for this converter for USB to networ costs much less than purchasing proprietary network cards for the devices to be addedd to the LAN. They are much easier to support too. The support CD comes with desktop support software that can discover the devices on the network and allws their network properties to be changed and saved. The printer can be setup on a Microsoft Windows 2003 server as done as an industry standard method for deployment. They can then be shared like other HP printer that has a network interface card built into it, has been added, or as an external device.

PC Remote Support Software
Software I use for supporting computers remotely through the web.
All computer desktop and PC server manufacturers have some very relaible products. I've not seen one system that needs no support at all.
The support-less computer desktop, PC Server, or MAC computer desktop or notebook laptop doesn't exist yet. If the support-less computer is designed, I'll be the first to welcome it as the number of problems that could occur with a computer, server or network increases, it doesn't decrease. Taking many of the smaler problems away from humans hand only helps in increasing resources for palnning, upgrades and installations.
Even though software has reached a level of smartness whereby it can update itself on a set schedule and in some instances repair itself, the fact of the matter is ,that all this technology has made more complicated technology.
All these features add to the list of things that could break on a desktop or a server. PC Workstation may be able to update themselves or the updating software can update other installed applciations but sometimes cause problems and not make them better. Now not only is technical support supposed to try and determine if another person had involvement with a cause to a problem but also have to check to see in logs on the computer or other sources whether or not there was software that cause the most recet problem.
PC Remote Support Software - I don't mind going on site to customer's offices to fix MAC/PC computer desktop or server problems but when I can, I connect remotely to their computers. It's faster and cheaper in the long run (depending on the product you buy though). My family and friends like it too since they always trying to do stuff online and get stuck. Often it's late at night so with software like this I don't have to go a visit them too! I just connect in through the web to provide them with desktop support software.
Whether it's HP, Dell, IBM, Gateway and others, are trying in many cases to release products to make the life of supporting the computing equipment easier but at times turn out ideas that make supporting systems more complex than they need to be.

Free software for remote support often requires too much manual configuring and updating. They contain config files and xml files that have to be created and updated often and are prone to bugs and errors. You alsomost need to be a programmer to get those com-plicated configuration files to work right. The instruction for free remote control and support apps are also often written unclearly with bad english. Nothing against any other language speakers but perhaps a more useful translation of software instructions would be helpful.
- Computer and server remote control and remote access isn't only for the giant corporations in computing and server sales and support. There once many ad-hoc methods for small businesses of computer and server support to use to provide their customers and remote clients with the support similar or in place of being on site. Because budgets were tighter for small support organizations and naturally individual consultant companies eager to grow but without over overwehlming their small companies with increased payroll burdens.
The ad-hoc methods for support worked well and often worked better than those used by large support organizations. Often they consisted of changes to the remote clients networking equipment to allow direct desktop access inward from the Internet. For those of you who remember, the early years also consisted of dial-up. HP Support, Dell Support, IBM Support and other large computer desktop and server enterprise product, service and sales support could develop their own or purchase licenses for computer support software that didn't require changes to the remote network configuration but for the smaller support companies, methods that were a little more fragile, less resistant to change, or required more setup time were needed and often used.
Remote Support on the web: One of most important tools that's helps support staff, consultants and VARS, system integrators, application developers, etc., is PC Remote Support Software . PC remote support software is more than an application usually based with an online session starting point, it's a mechanism for better customer service and with that of course improved more return customers and referrals, it become a part of computer supports daily tasks. As the wench or screwdriver is to the mechanic, so to has support software become a key tool in a technical support field.
Computer Remote Support Software:
Remote computer support software is increasing in importance with the release of Microsoft's new operating system for the desktop - vista. Online web sites that have offerings for remote support , ie. computer support software for desktop and server computer remote support on the web and have software applications that are to be downloaded then installed on the users local desktop hard drives (c drive for example) for remote control access and support, or remote computer support software that's implemented and intended to work through the web for online remote PC support are all getting increasingly more important. Their use is increasing among desktop and server support companies, help-desks, and IT departments. Microsoft desktop and server upgrades and Intel chips for PC advancements are two examples of companies that drive change and are forces behind technology advancement on software and hardware levels.
Remote Support Remote Support Remote support and good server, desktop, and operating system technical support increases in importance and need. Advancements usually more complicated software and hardware. Remote support shouldn't be and isn't just for the large companies like HP, Dell, Microsoft, IBM, and others. Small companies can find the right product for them for remote control remote support at a price that's right for them. - PC Remote Support Software

I'm also constantly trying different versions of software to provide remote support. Testing on the web with remote pc support software online for Remote Support - http://www.4remotesupport.com
Large desktop and server suppliers like Dell and HP use software for remote support of their desktop and especially server customers. Also companies like Cisco who is not a desktop or server manufacturer but have a large stake and installation base of networking components and devices user pc support software for on-line remote desktop support through the web. Cisco has even gone so far as to have purchased two companies that provide software for desktop remote control access. The most recent of which is webex, a very technologically advanced remote desktop access and remote PC control online application and solution for remote desktop support. PC Remote control software is at the core of any software application that's designed with the intent for pc tech support.
