Why did I get started on this creepy puppet kick? Michel Nedjar

When I was in Paris, summer 2009, I visited the Jewish museum and was dazzled by the Michel Nedjar exhibition of Purim puppets. His recycled materials, twisted together so cleverly as he devised his characters, and his frightening iconic images - they haunted me for weeks.
