There are many puppy behavior problems that I will discuss here, all of them are the most common ones that develop and tend to get out of control, and even dangerous.

Puppy Behavior Problems - Puppy Aggression

There are many reasons why your puppy can become aggressive, the key is to find out why, and put a stop to it.

The most commons things that could have happened are:
• Genetic and hereditary Factors play a major part in aggression.

Puppy Behavior Problems - Puppy Biting

Puppy biting is actually quite natural, this is one of the key things it does to investigate the rest of the world around them, considering, it does not have any hands.

What you must teach the puppy is what's called "biting inhibition". It is when you teach the puppy how hard is too hard to bite, thus creating a boundary to limit the pups bites.

This is a very crucial thing to teach the puppy, especially if it left its mother at such a young age. Why? Well, because this is something the mother would have taught the puppy. Plus, it would have been a regular part of the puppies day to rough house with its brothers and sisters.

Puppy Behavior Problems - The Destructive Puppy

The main reasons that puppies tend to be destructive is because they are bored. What you need to do is get them nice and tired at the beginning and end of the day.
Here are a few tricks that can help you do this:

• Before you leave for the day take your dog out for a nice long walk, 30 minutes - 1 hour at least, this will tire the dog out, and will sleep most of the day

• Make sure you show your dog what is acceptable to play with, such as its own toys.

• Make sure its toys are very hard to destroy, thus giving it something to do for awhile.

• Another thing you might want to try is puppy crate training, this will teach your puppy to stay in a crate while you are away.

These are just but a few things you can do to stop your puppy from destroying everything in sight.

Puppy Behavior Problems - The Digging Puppy

There are many natural reasons why a puppy will dig. They are left over wild instincts left over from when dogs lived in the wild, and dug holes to bury leftovers, and to create dens to keep cool in the summer months, and warm in the winter months.

Here are some easy tips on preventing your dog from digging where you do not want it to:

• Mark off an area in your yard where your puppy is allowed to dig, praise it when it digs there, and scold it when it digs where it is not supposed to

• Do not allow it to take scraps of food, be it leftovers, or a bone outside. Then it will not have a reason to dig.

• Fence off the areas you do not want it to dig, such as your flower beds or garden.
