What I learnt about puppy potty training
This is probably the most important puppy potty training tip, if not the most important dog training tip, period! This is really THE tip.You have to make all training pleasant for puppy. Use a pleasant tone of voice and do not appear threatening at all. Scaring puppy will only make things worse and can even cause you to be totally unsuccessful.
So often, in our ignorance, we BREED bad habits in puppy. I know I made gross mistakes, all well meaning, but still. WE have to remember that dogs differ completely from us and what may upset us, comes completely natural to puppy.
Misunderstandings between puppy and us can create big problems. Make very sure this does not happen.

There are so many differences between different dogs, and therefore also between puppies, that you have to know puppy. Knowing things that will determine the time it is going to potty train puppy, will make it easier for you to potty train him.
