3 steps to effectively toilet train your puppy.

1. Prevention. Don't allow it to happen it in the first place. Keep it on a leach so you can control what it's doing. When you are not there keep it in a crate.

2. Encourage correct behavior.
When your puppy is doing the right thing you want to immediately reward it by giving it praise, petting it or giving it a treat.

3. Correct the behavior.
If you see your puppy is about to do something its not supposed to, simply say NO with your most authoritative voice(Don't shout). Your dog doesn't understand the meaning of NO, but will pretty soon learn that this command means it has to stop that behavior. Make sure that your NO voice is always the same.
