If you're wondering what size to purchase from the Chuck Taylor lineup - here's some help:- For Men - Purchase 1/2 size down from your usual size - so, if you normally wear a men's size 9 1/2, purchase a 9 for the CT's
- For Women - If you're purchasing from a women's size chart, the shoes should be true to size. However if you only have "men's sizes" to choose from, choose 2 full sizes down from your normal number size (if you normally wear a women's 8, choose a men's size 6)
- Kids, Toddlers and Infants - These should all be true to size, per the size chart you choose from.

You know - I don't know about what the classic 90's shade of purple was, or what it was called. Here's what I would do if I were you - I would look on eBay on a general search - if that older shade is available at all, that's the best place I know of to find it:

- What was the purple chuck form the 90s called excactly and what was its code number??? The one purple chuck i could buy in a shop near me at intersport is called purple 108808 and the one bit darker is called purple 1j622. Maybe you know what was the original real cool purple chuck form back in the day???

Great to find a page dedicated to the purple chucks. When i was a kid i was never allowed to get some chucks("...too expenisve for that kind of shoe").
But i dreamed of some nice purple chucks and looked up to the cool people i saw wearing them.
NOW i want to buy some BUT i need some HELP! I tried chucks on, i know my size..i want high chucks in the classic purple color that i remember from the 90s.
When i surf the net now i see so many different purples that i really cannot say which is the right purple....i went through shops...compared pictures..tried to remember...form all the crap purples like magenta, italian plum...and so on...i narrowed my search down to 2 available purples at the moment(and even in 2 shops in my hometown in germany).
To my surprise both shoes are called "purple" not purple passion or anything that you might say. ah no this aint my pruple...both are called purple and thats just my dilemma.
