My favorite purple evening gown is the deep purple one on the left, the design is simple and looks beautiful. It's a design which is pretty timeless and quite flattering. The full length gown is made of satin and the only drawback is that the skirt is unlined (if they lined it it would definately make you feel even more like a princess!). It has a ciffon overlay and also comes with a matching chiffon shawl. The trim, which you can see up close if you click the link that takes you to Amazon, is made from crystals.
I think the design of this dress is absolutely stunning, it's also available in different colors including the lilac that is also pictured above. This is a simple and elegant gown that just says class and sophistication.
