Purple Star Lenses by sousababy

Ranked #677 in Squidoo Community, #87,872 overall

'So which lenses are popular of yours, Rose?'

My friends wanted to know which lenses of mine are the most successful.

'Well,' I sighed (looking over my traffic stats), 'lately people are liking psychopaths and homemade salad dressings.'

Then it hit me, I have ten purple stars now. I love top ten lists (Dave Letterman's especially). Looking over my purple star lenses, I soon realized how serious some of these topics are - so, I thought I'd do my best to throw in some top ten lists and jokes too.

What's a purple star?

Photo source: The Purple Star Program on Squidoo They are symbols of authentic, original, fantastic content given out by Squidoo's editors and community organizers - bdkz (Bonnie) and rms (Robin). They are scarce and special - only about 1,000 per year are given out.

The best way to receive a purple star is to get yourself noticed for your incredible content, for trying new ideas and modules, for running conversations on your lenses, for standing out from the crowd. Do that - and you'll receive them too.

Purple stars seem to be rare items these days but they were like a night of shooting stars when the monster program started....may you have many more to light up your place in the Squidoo galaxy. This is a very cool purple star lens, I had one for a while but got discouraged with it and hit the delete button a little too soon.

    Dear Rose,
