    Many people think that the purple people eater is in fact purple and he eats people. While it is true that he eats people, he only eats the purple kind of person. So anyone that is not purple should not be afraid of the cuddly little monster. Furthermore, I believe he is actually blue in color and not purple.

    I've LOVED the purple people eater snong since I was a Kid (I had a 45 of the song)
    I'm going to include this in the fetured lenses on Horifically everything Haloween lens (being as I have the songs listed on there)

    Loved this lens, and it was funny as well. Gotta be honest, growing up I had nightmares about purple people eaters stalking my parents as they watched tv. It was a terrifying song! But now I am fine...really...no really.

    Ah, they heyday of the Viking, when the Purple People Eaters ruled the gridiron....well at least in Minnesota. Maybe their mistake has alway been having two horns on their helmets.

    The Minnesota Vikings were dubbed "the purple people eaters" in the 70's and 80's too. earned a 'thumbs up' from me on your lens.

    What an incredibly fun page. I always wondered 'bout those popular purple people an' how they felt about being chased down by someone at dinner time. I cannot leave this page without telling you that one 'uh my favorite colors is purple. Alla' my other favorite colors have a penchant for hanging around in the rainbow, but once in awhile they all come out to play. Thank you for a great deal of fun whilst I visited.

    This was spectaularly PURPLE!! It was great and explained every thing about purple people eaters! I was really a lot better then i thought and i'm really impresses!! I want to say the same thing as tandemonimom " 5 sparkly purple start!"

    I loved this song when I was a kid! I remember listening to it on the 8 track in my dad's old Bronco. I'm going to feature this on my Passion for Purple lens. :)
