History of Film
Considered by many to be one of the dullest classes offered by film & video schools, history of film classes are usually made up of endless hours spent watching old and classic films. From the old silent films from the turn of the century to cult classics that are meaningless to most viewers. History of film helps the student to better understand the art form and appreciate how films have come so far in the last 100 years or so.Needless to say, these are just two of the many classes offered by film & video schools. Other examples include screenwriting, sound engineering, directing 101, video editing and a whole lot more.
