Shopping On The Web: After Christmas Gift Ideas, Deals & Discounts
Oooooh, the Christmas Holiday season is finally over. It's time to get back to our usual fun routine. It's still OK to be jolly and joyful, and I am. Even though I hate shopping for gifts, my wife loves to shop. I mean really loves to shop. And even though we are in a "recession" shopping must go on.
Yes everyone is still shopping, even though the evening news is filled with gut wrenching news about the return of the "great depression", the mortgage market chaos, increasing joblessness, the onslaught of the credit card crisis, & the federal government buying up a part of financial institutions and even GM.
But their are still lots of shoppers, who are, however, buying smart. Perhaps buying less, but most importantly, they are looking for discounts and deals.
When I rant and rave about shopping in stores, my wife just smiles. She shops, yes, online, and gets the neatest gifts ,and at unbelievable prices. She saves when she spends. I love it. I am sitting here in Denver, and its 10 degrees above zero. That is cooooold. But I am keeping my feet warm & toasty with the lambskin slippers she bought online. I love them. They are warm, comfortable and beautiful.
