FOCUS ON PHOTOGRAPHY

I will be adding a focus article on the various art media that I create. My first focuses on Photography.

I have been working with a new camera and the photographs that i am getting are stunning -each a work of art. The camera is a Canon S5IS.

I recently went on a photo shoot at a plant nursery. For the month of February they had some excellent florals. This is Cyclamen. The colors in these pink flowers just popped in the camera lens.

Orchids were plentiful. This is just one of the many beautiful orchids that I was able to capture with my camera.

A close up of an orchid is remarkably erotic. I am featuring this photo both as a print at my photo site and as a greeting card at my on-line shop at Etsy. This is a card for a very special person.

This is one of my favorite photos. This is just remarkable and detailed. I am sure that you will agree that this has classic beauty.

It just happened that day that the plant nursery was having a special event with a program featuring Birds of Prey from a local bird sanctuary. One of the birds that they brought was this Red Tailed Hawk - a really majestic - and somewhat, defiant bird. With this great camera I was able to take some great shots of this bird that did not sit still very long. It looks here like we are beak to lens!
