    Some printers are carbon zero and don't affect the environment. Old printers often leave a carbon footprint while there are a range of new printers that are becoming more eco friendly and carbon zero. You want to make sure that the company you are working with is responsibly when it comes to producing barcodes that are environmentally safe.
