Ojolie was launched in November 2006 to truly replace the sincere message of carefully selected paper cards. The theme is varied and worldly.

"When I first started making these cards I had a strong vision for the kind of message and aesthetic I wanted to convey - the perfectionist in me wanted everything from the artistic elements, the music to the story line to convey this vision - the challenge and goal is to continue keep the work fresh, inspired and varied." said Frederikke Tu, the artist.

Ojolie offers artistic, animated ecards for Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Year, Birthday, Baby New Arrival, Congratulation, Valentine, and other holidays and occasions. The cards feature pets (puppy, kitten), birds (golden crest, humming bird, dove, mother duck & its ducklings), flower (lily, tulip, peony, lotus), origami/paper folding, wildlife (baby seal, polar bear, squirrels, baby elephant, Trumpeter swans, Japanese red-crowned cranes, bunny), etc.

This is the granddaddy of artistic, animated ecards. It offers 97 artistic ecards as of November 2007. The theme is English country, with many ecards featuring animated floral arrangement and Ms. Lawson's pet dogs and cat. According to the website, about 10 ecards are released every year. The domain now belongs to American Greetings Corp., along with www.bluemountain.com.

"It has now been several years since Jacquie Lawson, an English artist living in the picturesque village of Lurgashall in Southern England, created an animated Christmas card in 2000. The e-card, featuring her dog, Chudleigh, her cats, and her 15th-century cottage, was sent to a few friends for their amusement. Those friends sent the e-card to others, and within weeks Jacquie was inundated with requests from all over the world to design more e-cards."
