The importance of controlling one's thoughts is paramount to achieve success. In the Star Wars Saga both Obi Wan Kenobi (my favorite Jedi Master, by the way) and Qui Gon Jin stressed the importance of exercising a very strict discipline over one's thoughts.

This is because, the Dark Side's number one target is the arena of your thoughts. If the Dark Side gets to permeate your thoughts, it will control and manipulate your entire life and take you into a downward spiral of destruction. We must be extremely careful not only about what we ingest through our eyes and ears, but what we think about.

Almost like a magnet, we draw in what we constantly think about. Now, you must realize that you are the only one who can control your thoughts. You decide what you will entertain in your mind. Simply because the Dark Side plants a negative, discouraging thought in your brain doesn't mean you have to "water" it and help it to grow.

Proverbs 23, 7 says "As a person thinks in his heart, so he will become". When you think thoughts of mediocrity of failure you are doomed to fail. But when you align your thoughts with God's thoughts, with the Light Side, and decide to think about victory, success, calmness, peace, strength, faith and a myriad of positive thoughts, you will inevitably put yourself on the path of the Light Side's supernatural blessings. Continually choose to keep your minds on the higher things and trust God, trust the Light Side, for good things.

At our most elemental, we are not a chemical reaction, but an energetic charge. Human beings and all living things are a coalescence of energy in a field of energy connected to every other thing in the Universe, this field of energy is The Force. Scientists have proved this, through quantum physics, and have come to a concept called the Zero Point Field - an ocean of microscopic vibrations in the space between things, thus everything would be connected to everything else like some invisible web. Human perception occurs because of interactions between the subatomic particles of our brains and the quantum energy sea, or The Force. The existence of the Zero Point Field implies that all matter in the universe is interconnected by waves, which are spread out through time and space and can carry on to infinity, tying one part of the universe to every other part, at speeds higher than the speed of light. We and all the matter of the universe are literally connected to the furthest reaches of the cosmos through the Zero Point Field waves of the grandest dimensions. One of the central tenets of quantum physics, first proposed by Louis de Broglie, is that subatomic entities can behave either as particles or waves (diffuse and unbounded regions of influence which can flow through and interfere with other waves). This brings us to the theory that each individual consciousness has its own 'particular' separateness, but is also capable of 'wave-like' behavior, in which it could flow through any barriers or distance, to exchange information and interact with the physical world.

If consciousness is operating at the quantum frequency level, it would also naturally reside outside space and time, which means that we theoretically have access to information, 'past' and 'future'. If humans are able to influence quantum events, this implies that we are also able to affect events or moments other than in the present.

At a Quantum level you are like a radio tower that is constantly transmitting a certain frequency into the Universe. Your thoughts and feelings create an energetic vibration that is sent out into the world. This vibration is then reflected back to you by the Universe, producing physical results in your personal world. The truth is that we are always creating something. Whether you are manifesting what you want or what you don't want depends on the level of your vibration. We are like manifesting magnets! We attract what mirrors are feelings and thinking patterns. So what we send out is EXACTLY what we get back!

For example, when we are full of joy, gratitude, or excitement, we tend to send out a high frequency energy, which in turn magnetizes back high frequency experiences like great opportunities, positive-minded people, great learning experiences, material and spiritual prosperity, etc.

On the other hand, when we send out the energy of doubt, frustration, or fear, we tend to magnetize challenging experiences that we don't want. So all you need to do in order to be successful is to constantly emit high frequency vibrations which will attract your desires to you!

Poverty is not the will of God for any Believer. However, there are Christians who have taken a "vow of poverty" because they believe that poverty is a part of being holy and righteous. This is far from the truth. Poverty has nothing to do with godliness, or God-likeness. To be poor, or impoverished, means, "to be without; in lack; deprived." You and I don't serve a God of lack and insufficiency. He is the God of the exceeding and the abundant. In fact, He wants to lavish you with His goodness (Ephesians 3:20). I like what Dr. Leroy Thompson says: "You can't think any bigger than God can deliver!"

From Genesis to Revelation, the Bible proves that poverty goes against everything God desires for Believers. Poverty is a spirit designed to keep Believers in financial bondage. The devil uses this spirit to hinder Christians from prospering and ultimately fulfilling their destiny of being a blessing to the entire world (Genesis 12:2, 3).

God favors prosperity. According to Psalm 35:27 and 3 John 2, He is pleased when you prosper in your spirit, soul and body. His desire is that you prosper economically, socially, emotionally, mentally and physically. That's total-life prosperity. If you truly want to live a life that is set apart for God (holy) and represents your right-standing in Him (righteous), renew your mind by studying God's Word concerning true prosperity.

Although God's perfect will is for you to succeed in all aspects of life, let's concentrate on your financial prosperity. Finances are a major dilemma for most people. Debt and insufficiency are common causes for divorce, depression, suicide, and murder. For this reason, I feel it is my duty to deal with this subject head-on.

As a Believer, you are a member of God's family and have a royal, spiritual birthright (John 1:12; Galatians 4:4-6; 1 Peter 2:9). Romans 8:17 in the Amplified Bible says, "If we are [His] children, then we are [His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His inheritance with Him]." Not only does the Earth and everything in it belong to Jesus, it also belongs to you and me as part of our divine inheritance (Psalm 24:1; Psalm 115:16)!

You were made wealthy and rich before you came into existence. You've been predestined to prosper financially. According to Ephesians 1:4-5, God chose to bless you before the foundation of the world as evidence of your right-standing with God, which was made available to you through Jesus' death and resurrection (2 Corinthians 5:21).

As the righteousness of God, your inheritance of wealth and riches is included in the "spiritual blessings" (or spiritual things) the apostle Paul spoke of in Ephesians 1:5. Based on Psalm 112:3, righteousness, wealth and riches go hand-in-hand. You have every right to possess material wealth-clothes, jewelry, houses, cars and money-in abundance. It is that wealth that not only meets your needs, but also spreads the Gospel message and meets the needs of others.

The Bible says that wealth is stored up for the righteous (Proverbs 13:22, New American Standard). However, it will remain stored up until you claim it. Therefore, claim it now! You possess the ability to seize and command wealth and riches to come to you (Deuteronomy 8:18). Exercise that power by speaking faith-filled words daily and taking practical steps to eradicate debt. Like God, you can speak spiritual blessings into existence (Romans 4:17). Remember, doubt keeps silent, but faith speaks!

One of the main take-aways is that the strength with which you believe something makes it more likely for it to occur. If you believe strongly that good things will happen to you, then most likely that will be the case. So it isn´t just a matter of thinking about something for it to come to existence, you have to believe that it will occur.

In the moment that I discovered The Secret I realized that I had been living my entire life backwards. If things were good in my life, I was happy. If things were difficult in my life and everything was going wrong, I was stressed and miserable. In my ignorance, I had been misusing the law of attraction all of my life. But all of that changed when I had the knowledge of The Secret.

To live in accordance with The Secret and the most powerful law in the Universe, we must be in Joy first - and then everything will change. To live our lives by emotionally reacting to what is happening outside of us is misusing the law! As we react with negative emotion to any difficulties, we attract more negativity into our lives. We cannot defy the law of attraction, which operates on the most microscopic levels of vibration, and with absolute exactitude.

You must be in Joy first. And then your life will change into Joy.

Difficult times are the greatest opportunities in disguise. When we face difficult times we have to put in determined work to get ourselves into Joy. But let me tell you, when you can get yourself into Joy despite what is happening around you, your life must change - it's the law!

In addition, as you become Joy in difficult times you are becoming the master of your emotions, the master of your life, and the master of the law of attraction. Difficult times are your greatest opportunity to practice yourself into Joy.

Of course if your life is going along swimmingly then it is very easy to be in Joy. During those times your Joy is most likely a reaction to the good times. But the magnificence and the power that you really have within you will be seen when you can be in Joy during difficult times. It is then that you will see the true power that you have within you, because as you hold to Joy, you will shift all the energies of the Universe, and your life and your world will change.

The cause of everything is within you, and the effect is what you experience in your life. You have the power within you to change everything by putting yourself in Joy. You can change everything so easily by becoming Joy first! And nothing can change until you get yourself in Joy, because that is the law of attraction. Like attracts like! The energy of Joy attracts energy of Joy!

Do whatever it takes to find your Joy, and then keep yourself in it no matter what. Keep ramping up your level of Joy every day. There is no limit to the levels of Joy you can reach. You will see change to the degree of Joy that you can attain and maintain. The higher the Joy you can create within you, the more spectacular the change, and the higher the Joy, the faster the change. Once you get yourself in Joy it is easy to maintain it, because your emanation of Joy attracts more Joy. The law of attraction will continually send you more feelings of Joy.

You cannot criticize or blame or complain when you are in Joy. You cannot be afraid when you are in Joy. You cannot speak negatively when you are in Joy. You cannot harm another when you are in Joy. Negativity cannot reach you when you are in Joy.

When you are in Joy you are compassionate. When you are in Joy you are considerate and caring. When you are in Joy you love others. When you are in Joy you appreciate everything. When you are in Joy you are in love with the world, and the Universe is in love with you.

Be in Joy. Seek it with all of your heart, and you will find it.
