When results happened to me as quickly as they did, many people were amazed, and asking me all the time - "How did you get there so fast?" I hadn't thought of it, it was my normal pace. So I figured from that, I must be doing something different to produce results that others thought were almost impossible.

The statistics of my last years progress from nobody to internet marketing mentor read like a rising stock report. Too long to list for a lens, but lets just say they were pretty good.

When I was approached in April by www.bestaffirmations.com to provide them with an affirmations section on how I create Quantum Leaps, I realized I had inadvertently become an expert. From that I started to analyze and break my day down, so that I could dissect what the common threads were to my rapid progress.

And from that I uncovered 12 of them, a few of which I will share with you right now. And the funny thing is, they are really common sense - the difference though it is common sense applied. Knowing you should be doing something and doing it are two different things.

I'm going to boil it down to 3 critical steps to achieve a quantum leap, because if you follow these, you'll be further ahead already.

1. Trust your instincts
We all hear things such as listen to your gut, trust your intuition, listen to the 'whisper' - and if I could put it down to the most powerful action, it would be this one. Because hard work and planning on the wrong action can lead to hard work and poor results.

The biggest part for me is intuition. An immediate knowing without reason. We've all had them, it is just a question of what you did when you got it.
Did you listen?
Did you take action?

The key is how well do you listen to your gut. Oprah Winfrey calls it "The whisper"

If you listen to the whisper it equals the path of least resistance to getting what you want much, must faster.

You ever hear the whisper and ignore it. The longer you take to get it, the more it costs, and it will repeat somehow until you hear it.

When I hear the whisper, I run.

2. Plan for a Quantum Leap
All of these options tie very closely together, and when you integrate them all, you have created a force that defies real world scenarios and agreements. Quantum leaps are not random, you have to plan for them. The overnight sensation stories of stars that hit it big, they don't say it happened overnight. They tell you they had been planning on this day since they were 4 years old. And if you analyze what they did just before their overnight flight to stardom, you will see most of the Quantum Leap steps in integrated action.

An example from my last year was I wanted to become a bestselling author. So does that come from wishful thinking. That helps, but without point #3 -you're going to be sitting back hoping and thinking for far longer than you need to. Opportunities and ways to make it happen are out there, you just need to see them, and plan for them.

I can safely say "Quantum Leap" planning works. It didn't happen by fluke, I put a plan in place to start to make things happen faster.

Part of planning is knowing what you need in order to make a big goal happen. An example is what I do. As soon as I need a skill improved - ie. copywriting - I am always looking to improve this, adsense, adwords, membership site implemented, content, and more traffic (always).

Instead of being linear, and doing one mentor at a time, I took a quantum leap by enrolling in all of them at the same time. Copywriting from Ray Edwards, coaching from Mike Litman, Adwords from Simon Leung, Traffic from Stephen Pierce, and I bought a software product and installation services for a membership site. And I am doing this all at the same time, which although a juggling phenomonen the payoff will be a 3 month surge again of advancements. All of those skills are now within me, and easily applied to all future projects.

And I plan a 'big advancement/quantum leap strategy' item every 3 months. This means I put in 120% for this item to complete it in my timeframe.

Lets take a quantum leap plan by Stephen Pierce. Hi is of course an internet marketing legend, so he did something right. He is a dynamic person, huge stage presence, and was fascinating to listen to, on and off stage. He lives in the US, but spends much of his time in Asia, Europe and Australia. When I spoke with his wife, she talked about a difference in gratitude, graciousness and expectation versus determination. I mention his wife first because I was curious as to why they were over there so much, and when she explained that the people in these countries are so grateful for the time, attention, and information you give them, that they hungrily apply it, take responsibility for their own success by swift application and a deep understanding of the material. I thought this was very interesting, because I must say that while I was in Singapore with over 3400 attendees, I felt this as well. They didn't expect you to do it, make it work, or even hold their hand, they chose a reputable show to attend, this gave them the confidence to know no matter who they chose, their products would deliver what was promised.

A quantum leap for Stephen was choosing the market that really accelerated his programs, and his reputation in other countries. Instant International phenomenon.

As an addendum from me on this outcome - plan to attend live shows. That is my Quantum Leap advice. You make joint venture partners which is the most powerful force I have experienced in viral marketing and collaborated efforts. Live shows allow you to meet the speakers, know who is capable, and allow people to put a face to your name when you contact them afterwards. Still one of the most powerful methods of meeting people. I know the people I communicate with most, I met at a tradeshow. And almost all joint ventures I accept to promote to my list, I met at a seminar. So schedule to attend the World Internet Summit, and at least 2 other marketing events every year.

3. Take Massive Action -
What are you willing to do to get it?

Walking through life, smelling the flowers is great when you're retired, or you have acheived the lions share of your dreams, but if you have a burning goal that you can not ignore, then it's time for massive action. My burning goal last year was I wanted to become a bestselling author, and from starting to write the book to 58 days later, it launched as a bestseller on that day.

Was that easy? Absolutely not.
Was it worth it? Beyond my wildest dreams.

So what are you willing to do to get it? What are you really willing to do to get it?

Are you willing to do whatever it takes?

What are you willing to do when fear strikes, doubt hits, life kicks back, or choices come across your path that pull you from your goal.

Quantum Leap Thinking is the ability to control the outcome and take action, no matter what.

There are 9 more just waiting in the wings, but this is enough to make miracles already.
