Many people may wonder who we are and where we came from. Obviously, we are a brand new online quartz crystal seller located in Jessieville, Arkansas. Quartz Creek, Inc. consists of two related families. One family, the Murders Family, consists of a husband, wife, and 6 year old little boy. They are life long residents of the Jessieville area; however, they never realized that all of those beautiful crystal specimens lying all over their yard were valuable. To them, they were nothing more than rocks in and around the yard. Sometimes, people become so accustomed to natural beauty around them that they actually miss the true value of their surroundings. When they see something amazing every single day, it loses its luster. That is what happened to the Murders family.

About six months ago, however, the blended Jackson/Echols family, consisting of a husband, David, wife, Angela, and two 8 year old little step brothers, bought 11 acres of the property from their relatives, the Murders. David and Angela were in awe of the natural beauty of the surroundings. The property contains a natural spring and a beautiful flowing creek. The trees and plants are plentiful. Quartz crystal is everywhere on the property. To them, the property was similar to what the Garden of Eden must have looked like.

David and Angela were what most people would consider "city folk." They both worked in the only large Arkansas city, Little Rock. David is a computer programmer, and Angela is an attorney. They had never been tuned into their natural surroundings, per se, because they were always too busy fulfilling the American dream, which they did. They went to college and obtained lucrative careers. They had a nice two story home. They had nice vehicles. Their children wanted for nothing. They had every material thing they could have ever wanted.

Prior to buying the property in Jessieville, David and Angela thought that their subdivision lifestyle was ideal. How their priorities changed, however, when they started spending weekends on their property! At first, they only desired to go out and work on the property on weekends. Before long, though, they were spending three to four nights a week in a camper on the property, and leaving their nice two story home vacant. It was if the property was calling out to them, and they were miserable when they were not there.

It did not take long for them to decide that they no longer wanted to live away from their property. Now, they have their nice two story home up for sale in a terrible seller's market, and they are living in a small camper on their property, and you know what, they are the happiest they have ever been in their lives.

They have learned what most Americans never learn: that there is more to life than just accruing more and more material possessions. Life is about opening your camper door every morning and looking at natural unadulterated beauty around you. It is about trying to succeed by selling the natural things that you have on your land, whether that is crystal, spring water, or vegetables from a garden. It is about taking your kids into the yard with a bull dozer and mining crystals on a Saturday morning and watching their faces light up when they find what they describe as the "mother load."

Oh, yes, our lives have changed within the last six months. Our lives are simple now. A lot of people believe we have lost our minds. However, despite what others think, we would not live our lives any other way.
