Multi-talented Woman of the World

A lot of people know Queen Latifah as the songstress she started out as. I first fell in love with her through her acting. First it was her incredible underwater scene in the movie Sphere followed by a role as a nurse in The Bone Collector then I was hooked. She's been making me cry, laugh and think every since.

This lens is for the people out there who are curious about the singer, actress, producer, writer or woman that is Queen Latifah.

Three reasons to love Queen Latifah

  • Her sincerity

  • Her ability to make others laugh

  • Her beautiful smile and luscious curves

A Cover Girl

Smooth and Flawless

I think Queen Latifah is one the best Cover Girl's I've ever seen.

Queen Latifah developed her own line of cosmetics for "women of color" with her personal make-up artist Roxanne Floyd called the Covergirl Queen Collection in 2007.

"At nineteen, she was the first female solo rapper to have a major record deal. Four years later she had become a top television actress and movie star. She earned a Grammy, started a record label, and became the president of her own company. Today she is rap music's most enduring female force. But how did Dana Owens, a young girl from Newark, New Jersey, become Queen Latifah and make it to the top of the charts? The most powerful voice in rap has always been quiet about her life. Until now."
