Seventeen Reasons to Use Squidoo
Ranked #6,555 in Squidoo Community, #397,297 overall
Why I Joined Squidoo and Keep Coming Back
When I first found Squidoo, I was looking for a way to earn money to help pay my student loans. Since I had created and taught online courses before, it was exciting to discover the system of modules at Squidoo. I knew I'd need to learn a few things about writing and publishing in a community environment, especially since all my previous writing was academic or technical in nature. So, I took the plunge and created my first lens. Now I'm a Giant and proud of it. That was no small feat for me. We're a busy family and my career is very demanding. So, it took me quite a while, eighteen months. But I'm glad I set the goal and worked to achieve it.
This lens is about the reasons I like Squidoo and the reasons I support the Squidoo community. It has a list sixteen exciting things I've done here at Squidoo, things you can do too. There are more, I'm sure. But I'd say this is a pretty good start.
Here's a list of the reasons I keep coming back to Squidoo. When I've finished my 99th lens, I'll make another list to go with this one.

- Very original way to make a lensography! I love it. I think it must get more traffic than a regular "here's my lensography".

- I love the networking and the chance to interact with others. The extra cash doesn't hurt either:-)

The Best Part of the Journey is Telling the Story
During my travels, fortune has blessed me with teachers who had heart, courage, and purpose.
As a social worker, therapist, and teacher, I've helped people discover how to care for themselves and their loved ones. I've also been fortunate enough to learn with them what it means to discover a sense of purpose, renewed confidence in themselves, and joy in living a life of adventure.
I hope you become a fan on Squidoo, a friend on Facebook, and follow me on Twitter.
