This mixer will change the way you cook
Once you start using it, you'll have your oven running a lot more than you used to.
The mixing motion covers the entire bowl and requires no scraping of the sides with the spatula. Just pop the ingredients in the bowl and let it do it's job.
Make pizza dough, bagels or whole wheat bread with the aid of a dough hook. The other two attachments are the paddle and the whisk. The paddle is the all-purpose "workhorse" beater, and works extremely well of creaming sugar and butter together, mixing cookie dough or cake batter and is an all-purpose mixing tool. The whisk is great for mixing egg whites and making whipped cream.

This is an expensive mixer, but it is very well worth it. Even novice cooks will find it's use enjoyable, and it will inspire you to explore new things that you probably didn't do before because of the time and effort involved.

Raw cashews are full of healthy phytochemicals, essential fatty acids, mineral, proteins
and their nutritional value is seriously compromised by roasting them.
Best Ice Cream Maker
Your Perfect Mixer Match
This is so easy to use you may find yourself overstocked with fresh quarts of the best ice cream you ever tasted. It makes the best ice cream my family has had, is sturdy, quiet, and solidly made. I also like the fact that it doesn't take up additional counter space the way a stand-alone appliance would. If you store the bowl in the back of the freezer, you can put the dasher and drive assembly in a drawer, and avoid additional clutter. In terms of simplicity and ease of use, it is miles ahead of a traditional ice and salt crank freezer.

I bought the Ben & Jerry's book Ben & Jerry's Homemade Ice Cream & Dessert Book and tried their base. Wow. That was exactly like the Ben & Jerry's from the store. It was so much easier too. The premium base is just two eggs, 3/4 cup sugar, 1 pint cream and 1 cup milk. It's delicious and very quick. (1 pint half and half, and a 1/2 pint cream is basically the same.)

Soda-Fountain Malt Glasses
Excellent quality, excellent buy
Perhaps you too have noticed the proliferation of martini glasses and other forms of retro-is-back stemware offered by bed, bath & kitchen retailers. Nevertheless there are a few things that are nearly impossible to find through traditional retail channels. These old fashioned soda fountain malt/sundae glasses certainly qualify. Why they have all but disappeared from retail shelves ---- even the stock-everything-under-the-sun Walmart ---- beats me. Sure they harken back to the 1950s (and even earlier). But does it ever go out of fashion to serve your ice cream and soda deserts in style? Not in my book. These are stylish and classy. Glass tumblers and ceramic cereal/soup bowls doubling as ice cream and soda fountain serving-ware are not.
Bormioli Rocco Rock Bar Dessert Glass, Set of 6
Amazon Price: $27.00 (as of 02/23/2012)![]()
These are heavy, commercial quality glasses. I am thankful that Amazon offers them, and at a great price too. Unfortunately, the second item that nobody stocks offline anymore is a necessary accompaniment when serving a thick malt: Iced Tea Spoons. These Soda Fountain ware glasses, which stand seven inches tall, are a perfect match for iced tea spoons with their elongated handles. Bed, Bath & Beyond doesn't stock them. Macy's doesn't offer them. And ironically enough, the flatware market king, Oneida, doesn't even appear to manufacture them. Again, Amazon to the rescue. Buy 'em both while you still can and you too can host your own ice cream social.
