Stretch Marks - A Common Problem Yet Can Be Very Embarrassing

Stretch Marks

Stretch marks are a common skin condition that can be faced by both men and women. When most people think of stretch marks, they think of the pregnant women, but the problem affects many people in all age groups and both men and women.

While not dangerous, they are sometimes itchy and embarrassing.  Your skin is the largest organ on your body.  It's designed to be flexible, but when pushed to its limit, it suffers somewhat of a breakdown.

When it's stretched out rapidly, the skin develops lines called striae that often appear reddish in nature.  After awhile, the marks may turn into a whitish color.  The most common areas to get stretch marks are your abdominal area, breasts, upper arms, lower back, hips, and thighs - just about everywhere!

Your skin loses its collagen and elastin, which means it no longer has those finely toned lines and fibers.  Although this happens beneath the top layer of skin, if the stretch is bad enough, it will eventually show through the top layer.

What's the Cause of Unsightly Stretch Marks?

There are many reasons your skin loses its elasticity.
Pregnancy causes stretch marks to appear because the skin is stretched along with the growing fetus inside a woman's womb. The more the skin stretches, the more prevalent stretch marks will be.

Other causes of stretch marks include gaining and losing a lot of weight (especially if it happens quickly). The skin stretches with the amount of fat that's put on. When a lot of weight is put on and then is shed off of the body's frame, the skin becomes looser and stretch marks will form.

It's also said that hormones play a part in these skin blemishes. Hormones can affect the way the skin's cells function. When that's disrupted, skin blemishes can occur - like the stretch marks. Depression could have an effect on the skin cells as well. Depression causes unnecessary stress and anxiety, which affects a lot of your body's functions - including your skin cells.

A poor diet may also be to blame for stretch marks to appear. Your skin needs certain nutrients to function properly. When it's lacking those nutrients, it can't function and grow as well as it should.

Children who have gone through a sudden growth spurt can sometimes be found to have stretch marks, as well as athletes who continually do the same exercises on certain areas of their bodies. No one seems to be immune to it, but there are ways of quickly getting rid of stretch marks.

Trilastin-SR - Powerful Stretch Mark Medicine to Quell Your Embarrassment

Stretch marks can make you depressed, humiliated, and ashamed. Although others may not even notice them, you feel as it they're sticking out like a sore thumb on your skin. You may have tried several different products to try to get rid of them to no avail.

Trilastin-Sr is a potent product now available to anyone suffering from the battle wounds of pregnancy, diet, and exercise - otherwise known as stretch marks. It's an aggressive medication designed to target the dermal tissue defects that cause the stretch marks to form in the first place.

It aids in the repair of skin tissues, which helps eliminate those marks from sight. Not only will it repair your skin to a more flawless state, but it also helps to prevent any more dermal tissue breakdown, so stretch marks don't occur again (a common problem with people prone to this issue).

For years, women have frantically tried every snake oil product that hit the streets. Who doesn't want their body to retain or return to its youthful appearance? Unfortunately, they did nothing to help a stretch mark sufferer.

They only aided in bringing the seller more money to put in their own pockets. Because of modern technology, Trilastin-SR is able to do exactly what it says. It wasn't a product made for something else that just happens to also get rid of stretch marks - it was made to get rid of them and it's living up to its purpose.

With some stretch marks going extremely deep into the skin's surface, some may take more time to respond to the treatment. But it won't drain your bank account like laser surgery or plastic surgery will, and has some very strong testimonials!

Vitamin E to help Prevent Stretch Marks

Make sure you check with your doctor first, but a Vitamin E supplement can contribute to healthier skin that retains its youthful appeal. You can also apply Vitamin E topically as described above.

Vitamin E: Can It Really Rid Your Skin of Stretch Marks?

When a person sees stretch marks developing, he or she is often panicked to quickly get rid of them - especially if it's swimsuit season!

Vitamin E has long been touted as a way to get rid of stretch marks, but in reality, it's more of a preventative measure.

Vitamin E comes mainly in pill form, but many pregnant women invest in creams and lotions (or even oil) that they can rub directly on their stomach during pregnancy. Vitamin E is an essential item the skin needs to stay healthy.

You don't want to start overdoing your Vitamin E consumption because some things can be dangerous at high levels - so make sure you ask your doctor for advice on how much Vitamin E to use.

When it's healthy, the skin can heal wounds and blemishes that come our way, and stretch marks are no exception to this rule!

If you want to use it topically, you can try mixing the vitamin E oil with a lotion and massaging it into the stretched-out area or area prone to stretch marks on a regular basis. Some Cocoa butter lotions come with Vitamin E already mixed in.

While this may help prevent more stretch marks from appearing, you may need some powerful medicine to help you rid your body of unsightly stretch marks altogether. There is help available, now - and it won't require intrusive surgery or painful laser techniques.

I'm 44 years old, and I have 4 beatutiful children. My oldest is 22 now and i've unhappily borne stretch marks for the full 22 yrs of motherhood. I wish someone would have told me that pregnancy could do this to my body. I would still have had my children, but i would have done more to try to prevent these ugly marks. I had a tummy tuck 12 yrs ago which helped some, but the scar is ugly and there are still a lot of marks on my lower tummy. I had almost given up hope. But, I found out about TriLastin and ordered 2 tubes. It hasn't arrived yet, but i'm excited to try it. I so hope that I can have some improvement so I can feel comfortable in my 2 piece bathing suit again. It's been 22 yrs. Oh, how I hope this is gonna work. I would just love to look halfway dcent for a little while before I get too old to care. Anybody out there had success with TriLastin?

    Vivian,
Have you tried Eucerin creme? It's hypoallergenic, fragrance free and you can find it in many stores including Walmart. The creme version is the most concentrated and will moisturize better than lotions. If you currently use a moisturizer on your skin see if they have a creme version
