Why? For one thing, its a lot easier than writing sales copy. It doesn't take you several hours to shoot a 8-18 minute video like it does to write a good page of copy.
We live in a television society, where the average household watches about 4 hours of tv per day. This is just how we process information.
Why can't people learn to use their appliances? because they didn't READ the manual, but they would watch a video if they had one.
We are conditioned already, just like we talk to each other using stories too.
You MUST use stories in your marketing. This is because that's the way we communicate all the time.
Your story could just be why you made the product.
For instance, Jeff was a fighter pilot until he suffered a back injury, the fighter pilot could no longerfly.
He said that one can only watch ESPN for 92 minutes before it recycles into the same thing over again. So what could he do?
Well, he told his story and where he came from. He says why he's marketing this product, and how this guy can't fly anymore and now he's doing internet marketing.
He thought he would die in combat aircraft or be flying, never thought he would be out of comission with an injury.
And we relate with him through his videos. Its all about the connection. Video allows a strong connection

It can be a single keyword that is a main phrase, or long tail keyword phrases.
Words like: the, and, & in don't go well with Google, it treats them as low quality content, so don't use them unless necessary.
Your tags are more opportunities for putting in related words, 6 to 7 max. Don't put too many. Ask yourself what you would search for and go through the process yourself, and start searching and writing it all down.
