Do You Show Your Quilts?

Show them or just love them? There is a school of thought that creating "perfect" pieces for showing defeats the purpose of a quilt. For many people, quilts should be first and foremost a practical item. If you're afraid to have people touch it, you've missed the point?

On the other hand, those "perfect" quilts and quilt shows challenge quilters to achieve the highest standard they can with their creations. They push us to try new things and appreciate each other's creativity.

To show or not to show?
