Everything You Need to Make Your Quilt - Building Your Stash
Building your stash is critical - it means that when the creative urge strikes, or that brilliant idea pops up you have everything you need to hand so that you can start your project while the picture is fresh in your mind and the creative juices are flowing. The quilt and cushions in the photo came from all the bits of pink and cream I had collected and stored in my stash boxes.
This lens is here to provide you with access to all the goodies you need to build that stash. If I've missed any good resources that you know about leave a message in the Guest Book and I'll add them to the list.
Quilting Fabric
All those luscious fabrics that make your mouth water - Some start with a pattern, but for it is always the fabric, the colors and textures start the ideas and I go on from there. One of the best sources of fabrics is eBay, and you often find fabrics that are ready cut if you just want simple shapes. Saves no end of time and you can get straight to the interesting bit, the sewing.
