    Interesting quiz. Without reading anything, I just got 1 out of 10 correct. I guess I only knew about Scottish Whisky, but now thanks to you I know more.

    I didn't do very well on the quiz...answering only two questions correctly! I need to do some studying. Though not related to any of the questions on the quiz, I do know that the rock band, Jethro Tull, is from Scotland!

    9 out of 10. Nice lens but if my mum's anything to go by the Scottish way of eating porage doesnt involve a 'pinch' of salt, she pours in tons of the stuff. Butter tablet's nice though.

    Absolutely loved it Word Custard! You may or may not be surprised to learn that I scored 100% - the thing is, I didn't expect to because I know nothing about actors! The only one I have ever heard of is Mel Gibson, so I had to take a pure guess at the other four and got it by the name. Must be my lucky day - wish I'd bought a lottery ticket... :)

    I disappointed myself --only 7 out of 10. I can forgive myself for not knowing Scottish Dogs, but for not knowing the capitol of Scotland, or who fought in the Battle of Culloden ... bad American. Can I get a bonus point for knowing what a sporran is? (And does Google spell check get one for knowing how it's spelled? :)

    Only 9 out of 10. Lost at Culloden. I haven't been to Scotland for ages: 'Aye, it's a wild and lonely place you understand, Capt Mainwaring.' That'll have baffled all the non-British readers. Of course, Frazer was a lot more cheerful and optimistic than I am. But then most people are for some strange reason. Well, until they meet me - then they know the true meaning of misery (and it's nothing to do with Stephen King).

    And now I'm off to depress someone else - a little SquidDevil spreading doom and gloom wherever I wonder. This'll be 1,000 points of your score!

    I cheated too. My husband is half Scottish, descended from the Wallace clan. So he took the test for me, he missed one though. Someday soon we need to pay a visit to the land of his heritage. In the meantime, we attend Highland Games whenever we can.

    40%. Not bad for someone who guessed it all except for the food question (I did not guess that one). Almost got the question with how did mary die but figured the answer couldn't be so well don't want to give the answer away here. Anyway thanks for that interesting bit of Scotland History. Enjoyed it! Shame on me..one of my favorite authors..had no clue to their birth place

    I never ate Haggis but a friend of mine who's crazy about Scotland promised to cook one for me... so, I'll tell you what I think about it when she'll get it to me. I know what it does contain and even so, I accepted to give it a try!
