I had the privilege of living in this beautiful city for two years. Lake Havasu City is a popular tourist destination for spring break on into the summer. In the wintertime it is home to a large retired population who come here from cold climates to enjoy the warmer weather during the winter months. The lake is popular for swimming, boating, fishing, and partying! Other popular activities include hiking, offroading, and golfing. Not a day goes by that I do not miss this place! You know that cabin fever feeling you get in the winter where you just would rather be somewhere else, somewhere warm? I rarely had that feeling in Havasu, all I had to do was go outside and look at the lake and there was nowhere else I wanted to be.
