Decorating In The Coastal Style
It is pretty easy to go with a seaside inspired decorating scheme whether you live near a beach or you just wish that you did. Certainly having light fixtures with shades made out of shells is one way to start the look in a room or the entire house.Keep the rooms painted in light colors and use accents of turquoise and the blues and greens of the ocean. Add additional color with orange, yellow, and bright reds to give interest in the theme.
Gather shells the next time you are at the beach and place them in a fish bowl. Frame some of the more unusually shaped shells and create a nice wall display.
