What do you know about the Rainforest?

Do people actually live in the Rainforests?

What are the Rainforest layers?

Rainforests are located near the Equator, the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn in South America, Africa, Asia and Austrailia. In this lens we will be exploring the above questions and many more.  The more rainforest facts you learn the more you will want to do something about the rainforest destruction.

My Inspiration for this Lens

The idea for this lens came about after finding the World Book Encyclopedia  Interfact Book and CD.  My kids have always loved learning about animals and nature but this computer program made learning that much more fun for them.

As a home schooling mom, I love to do unit studies and share information to help you with your science lesson plans that I come across at my personal home school curriculum blog with others as well as inspirational content and resources for Christian women at www.ChristianWomensResources.com to help strengthen the home and family.

Wow...another great lens, Lori!
I love the colorful plants of the rainforest; and would love to see more of that lush greenery here in Phoenix!
I'm sure the kids are really enjoying the Interfact Books; as well as your lenses.
Thanks for sharing, Connie : )
