Welcome to Rainbow Beach
Rainbow Beach lies across the bay from the City of Ladies and beyond it lie the wilds of Lemuria. Tours to these wilder, largely unexplored regions leave from Rainbow Beach.
Lemuria is the realm of le Enchanteur. Back on the 12th Night, 2008, travellers stepped through portals, all over the world, and arrived at Rainbow Beach, Lemuria.
Today at Rainbow Beach
There has been a bit of a show on the beach with Enchanteur and Jingle Hungerford eyeballing one another and the crowd who have turned up to watch. You can add to the story here. However, not everyone is on the beach. Some have found their way to the harbour, met the ferry and are on their way to appease the Triton and reach the mysterious Mudgimba Island.

Rainbow Beach Tour Office

The Rainbow Beach Tour Office is the place to go if you are planning to visit the Triton, go to Mudgimba, sail up the Kerith or visit the spirit of the Volcano.
- Mudgimba Island
- A flotilla of little boats are lined up to take travellers to Mudjimba Island which lies across the bay. Some locals call Mudjimba 'Old Woman Island.' Travellers will know their boat and find the right captain for this part of the trip.
There is a bit of catch however. Legend says that the Tanagran Triton made its home here and he tests all visitors, acts as a guardian for Mudjimba. Before a traveller can land on Mudjimba and find the guide for the next leg of the journey they have to purify themselves in the waters of this deep pool.women do weave very special magic.
Rainbow Beach Prophecy
Gloria Esterban visited Mudgimba Island some years ago and was stunned to learn, after viewing a Mudjimba mosaic that a woman was working on, that she was destined to become a famous Lemurian Trapeze artist. Today she performs at Rainbow Beach during the high season.A visit to Mudjimba can be very illuminating. When you go you will find a woman working on your tapestry or mosaic, a tapestry that will reveal your creative future.
When you check out the archives that record the journey's of those who have travelled before you it becomes clear that the Mudgimba women do weave very special magic.

Rainbow Beach Mantra
by Manon
Have faith:
Your work,
Your sweat,
Your tenacity and
Practice will be your force
And your creativity.
Your art shall grow with them.

That's Where Alona Darelyn Was Going
Rainbow Beach. That's where Alona Darelyn was going.
There was no doubt about it.
It said so on Alona Darelyn's bus ticket and it was printed on the blue and green tags that were secured to the handles of the bags she had carried on the bus with her when she boarded it four days ago.
It was also written in faded blue ink on the postcard that had arrived in her mailbox three weeks ago.
The postcard showed one of Rainbow Beaches up and coming attractions- though the attraction that was featured had long since arrived and went years ago.
It was a picture of Sideshow.
And it promised you would meet a Congress of Living Freaks.
" Hope so." Alona told the card.
The postcard was old, faded and worn and it smelled like mildew and spices and Alona guessed that maybe someone had found it in one of those bookstores that sold vintage postcards and posters with girls clutching Coca-Cola bottles to their shapely chests.
Or maybe, Alona thought someone had found it in an old address book that used to on her grandmother's writing desk.
She lifted the postcard to her nose and sniffed.
And then she turned it over again and read her own name and address on the right hand side of the card and on the left was printed:
Kanden Birch.
Alona traced each letter and then she put the postcard back into her bag and watched the sun start to set and sometime during the night the bus came to the little town of Five Corners, the last stop before Rainbow Beach.
Alona took her bags out from the overhead rack and she got off the bus and as she watched the bus glide away into the night- out towards Rainbow Beach she guessed she wasn't in a hurry.
Rainbow Beach and the Kanden were up there.
Waiting for her.

- Rainbow beach
Where the sand is soft
where the sand is soft
where the birds fly low
where the fish swim in safety
No fishermen
no fisherwomen
No speed boats spoiling the quietness
no jet skis zooming
No houses for miles
no huts to be seen
No campsites allowed
no tennis to be played on the beach
The sign at the bottom of the cliffs says "Rainbow Beach
The world's only paradise left
Guard it with your Life".
If it was up to me I would add
a little more to that sign
In the words of le Enchanteur
" Come all those who have chosen to enter the Rookery
come all those creative spirits
who are not afraid to play, write, imagine, let it all go
write write without stopping
let the pen flow from your heart....
There is no place like this this
left anywhere in this wide world
soak up all you can for tomorrow
we know not what the wind might say
what the clouds might hint at
what the sun will deliver
and what the night holds...
