Do You Have A Rainbow In Your Pocket?

♥ Can you give the gift of a rainbow? ♥

I invite you to become a part of Web of Life's "Rainbow Connection."  If you want to help make this world a better place then join me in giving away rainbows. Living on a tropical island has inspired me to use the symbol of a rainbow to spread the Spirit of Aloha around the world.

My rainbow loops of string are symbolic of Lokahi or unity. As we join the two ends of a string over the flame of a candle we hold a healing intent. Two becomes One. One circle working together in loving harmony.

Did you know that rainbows are circles too?  The people of this world are like the colors of the rainbow. We are the children of the rainbow.

The message that I want to share is to "celebrate our unity and honor our diversity."

Santa Has A Rainbow In His Pocket

By: Lois Stokes

Santa has a rainbow in his pocket.
Did you know that it was there?
He brings it out to show us
that love is everywhere.

Do you have a rainbow in your pocket?
Can you hold one in your hands?
If you accidentally drop it
Can you see it where it lands?

What happens when you wear it?
What happens if you try
to
Knot it
Tie it
Braid it
Weave it...
Can it make you sigh?

What if you let it go?
And it disappears
Will it reappear again?
and take away your tears.

Can you give a gift of rainbows?
What magic does this hold?
The world will be a better place
I know that this is so.

So children of the rainbow
This story's at its end.
Keep a rainbow in your pocket
and share it with your friends

Gifts of Aloha
The Hawaiian Word Kikau means to give freely and with good will. Many cultures exchange gifts as a symbol of love and celebration. You will find on this page a list of gifts that are free or nearly free and come from the heart.

Anuenue

rainbow

Anuenue is the Hawaiian word for rainbow. We have many rainbows in Hawaii. Sometimes double and triple ones are seen up in the sky. The rainbow is a symbol of hope, of God's gift to the people of our planet. We use rainbow colored strings to symbolize the spirit of Aloha that unites us. The different colors represent our diversity and the circle honors our unity.
