Save The Rainforests Save The World
Sorry to sound serious but...
Rainforest conservation should be a major priority for every single person in the human race plus every other living creature and plant on our planet. Rainforest deforestation is relentless day in day out and we cannot ignore it any longer. We must take action now or suffer the irreversible consequences of letting it happen.

Rainforest Destruction and Climate Change
Very Frightening Stuff...
Rainforest destruction is killing our world by releasing more CO2 than every car, plane and ship on the planet!
The rainforests help protect our world from man-made emissions by filtering our air and storing a fifth of all those emissions.
The impact upon the world from rainforest destruction is and will continue to be dramatic climate change that will harm every living thing on this planet.
Another quote from Prince Charles:
"If we lose the battle against tropical deforestation, we lose the battle against climate change."

Spread The Word About Rainforest Deforestation...
The more people that know and signup, the quicker the word will get around
I am trying to do my bit to prevent rainforest deforestation but world awareness must be amplified otherwise nothing will get done to stop it.
I'm going to various social networks and creating rainforest awareness.

Amazon Rainforests Destruction Update
We all indirectly contribute to Rainforest Destruction...
The Amazon cattle business continues to expand and threatens the remaining 80% of the Amazon Rainforest.
Cattle derived products from the Amazon Rainforest end up in many countries around the world and find their way into a multitude of foodstuffs, and footwear.
An estimated 3 million acres of Brazilian Amazon Rainforest was destroyed between 2007-2008 in addition to the one fifth already lost.

- The royals have definatly just gone up in my estimations, brilliant video, this hopefully should really help raise some awareness and spread the word...the rainforests once covered 14% and this has decreased in recent years to just 6%.. how long are we going to let this continue? vast amounts of land in countries such as brazil and bolivia are being cleared.. the problem is the debt these countries are in forces them to continue clearing and little of the money or produce actually goes back to them. Its not all bad news however, the effort is being made. Manu reserve in peru is a huge area of protected where only proffesional scientists with permits can enter, it has a restricted band for tourists and we need more areas like this. Organisations such as rainforest concern are doing thier best to use secondary rainforest in the most sustainable manor..teaching indigenous people to farm wisely..we just need this to continue all over the world!
