- This sounds like a great study unit for learning about the Amish. I remember liking Jane Yoder's books in general when my boys were young.
Last year for part of our vacation we stayed one night in Intercourse, PA, a strong Amish community. We did part of the "tourist thing" and took an Amish buggy ride through beautiful rolling farmland.
