I Told Her To Pick Just One Secret
From My Guide And See What Happens.

Lizzie figured she had nothing to lose so she zoomed to page 35. It revealed the number one reason ferrets smell and how you can fix it in five minutes flat (and no, it has nothing to do with "descenting" surgery or giving your ferret a bath).

She didn't think it could be that easy, but before she knew it the lingering odor in the apartment was gone!

Her husband Rudy was so thrilled he turned right to chapter 11 on training your ferret and teaching him manners. There he discovered the 7 silent techniques that "magnetically" make your ferret want to obey your every command. (Page 91)

Frankly these techniques didn't work overnight... they took a day and a half.

Since then, Janie's stopped nipping (which was a huge relief for their toes!) -- thanks to their discovery of how to prevent your ferret from biting you using these guaranteed methods proven to work. (Page 104)

And they've never had a problem ever again.

Baby Ferrets

Although new baby ferrets are very sweet and cute, there are many things you have to begin to take on in order to train these adorable little pets. New baby ferrets that are old enough to take home have to be litter box trained so you avoid those 'middle of the road' accidents as well as teaching them not to bite and nip at your fingers. If you are considering getting a new baby ferret, it is imperative to understand a little about the ferrets and if one will be the right pet for you.

New Baby Ferret Facts

Ferret experts say that within eight to ten weeks that the new baby ferrets will have developed their entire personality so if the baby ferret is sweet and cuddly, it will likely always be that way. Similarly if the ferret is highly energetic at this age, it will likely always be that way except maybe more emphasized because as they grow, the personalities also grow.

As you ponder and examine over the new baby ferrets and which one is best for you there are a few things that you should recognize and look for before deciding on a specific ferret. The first thing that you should realize is that ferrets live on average for ten years so you need to make sure that you can accommodate that for that length of time. It is a sad fact today that much like baby kittens that grow up, new baby ferrets can often be irresistible however the animal shelters are becoming over-run by ferrets whose owners no longer want them. If it is an option for you in your area, try to find a shelter in your area and adopt a ferret that although isn't a new baby ferret, desperately needs a home and are often trained already.

With that option eliminated and you are still seeking a new baby ferret to join your family at home, it is best that you spend some time with the new baby ferrets to see which one matches your personality and will fit the best into your home. Like all people, ferrets have their own personalities and can range dramatically from ferret to ferret so take a bit of time and hold each new baby ferret to really get a sense of the personality.

It is also imperative to really examine the eyes of the new baby ferrets to ensure that they are not feeling ill and generally if the eyes are clear, it is a fairly good indication that the ferret is in good health. A nice healthy coat as well as nice strong teeth and whiskers are other health status indicators in ferrets in general as well as new baby ferrets.

Different Colored Ferrets

There so many different colors of ferrets these days, how do you know which one is right for you?

Well firstly, let's start with a brief introduction to why there is so many different colors of ferrets. The ferret is a small fury animal which is commonly found in homes around America as a lovable and friendly pet. Originally there were only limited varieties and colors to choose from, but now, thanks to cross breeding between different types of ferrets, there is a vast array of colors and breeds of ferret.

The different colors of ferrets is an amazing thing for those out looking to adopt a ferret as a new member of their family. With so many different colors of ferrets available there is surely one to suit everyone's taste, they can even match the curtains!

There are basically four different colors of ferrets as far as fur coloration goes. There is The Sable, (including chocolate and dark) Albino, Dark Eyed White (DEW), and the silver, everything else you can think of should fall into one of these categories. With so many different colors of ferrets, it is common to have several colors in each ferret, this is where the color combinations come in. Some of the more intriguing patterns are the badger, the panda and cinnamon, but there are many more, each with its own desirable qualities, which makes it hard to choose just one ferret for inclusion in your family.

Along with the many different colors of ferrets fur, there is also many different variations in nose coloring, there is only a small variety compared to fur but still something to think about when choosing a companion. The common colors are pink, brown, black, splotched and t-outline noses. Although this doesn't seem like a big thing, it can make all the difference, because this is going to be something that will bring you a lot of joy and companionship in the future, so you want it to be the right one for you.

So basically, with all these different colors of ferrets, you should just pick whatever suits your personality and lifestyle the best. It is totally up to the owner for the final decision, no color is better than another, everyone's ferret is perfect in their own eyes. Happy ferret hunting!
