Ram Bomjon the Buddha Boy Is Just Another Huckster!

Ram Bomjon Is A Fake

They call him the Buddha Boy, or the Boy With Divine Powers. They claimed that Ram Bomjon could go for eight months without eating or drinking or even moving, while he was in a meditation like that of the Siddhartha Guatama himself. What they don't tell you is that Ram Bomjon was not allowed to be examined by medical doctors, and that no one was ever allowed to see what Ram Bomjon did at night - eating, drinking, dancing, and behaving like the teenage boy he was. Ram Bomjon is a fake!

Ram Bomjon is Fake!

Amir says:

I've read some of his words which have been transcribed and they are rather bland. I think he is likely a fake for this observation alone.

Marvin says:

Wait wait wait....You guys think he hid some food in the hollow tree?

Michael from Ireland says:

Ram never claimed any of these things. The "commitee" may have done but i don't ever remember himself bragging about any thing.
He also made the comment that "life-time sacrifices/ commitments" made by bhudda followers such as himself were being seen as meer "entertainment" he said this with a sombre tone. I don't believe he enjoys the attention.
I don't believe its right for Anyone to call him 'the saviour' or to call him a "fake".
Speculation and has a way of eventually turning anything genuine into another myth or fairy story.
Just as i said, i don't believe its right to call him either but apparently i have to choose one to submit this comment. I do not believe he's a fake.

Jim says:

Yet another scam taking money off those desperate to believe.

The videos clearly show he is protected during the night so nobody can see what he's up to.

Aurelien says:

Fuck all religion !

Ram Bomjon is Genuine!

Tarananda says:

Do not say he is a fake without know the power of spirit over the stuff of matter and how is possible to live taking energy from other unknown source.

Sativa says:

I think he is serious about what he is trying to do and that is only to enlighten himself through meditation. He is young and displays a great talent for focus, does that make him a "buddha" or a "fake"? Neither of these, to think you can know what he is about is fallacious perspective, even to speculate is a waste of time. Their philosophy, concept of nature and time, are in opposition with the western understanding. At most he will be a teacher, his guidance may be considered soul redeeming or savior-like, but this is a role many people will find themselves fulfilling in a lifetime for friends or strangers.

Assaji says:

You guys who say he is a fake have little idea about what you ar talking about. Here in the East, such things are quite common. Ram is not the only person capable of doing this, but is the only one doing it to a high degree and in a public space. Most mediators will choose a cell for protection against the elements and from prying eyes. Even so, Ram Bonjom chose a secluded forest. It was the public who sought him out and then started calling him Buddha or what ever. Ram never asked or pursued any of this. If you want to experience a little of what Ram achieved, you can join a 10 day Vipassana meditation course which is now available all over the world. Then you can decide better if this feat is possible.

Marvin says:

Err...?I thought he dissappeared?Actually I think he is used to make money....Just saw a movie about him yesterday decided to search the internet....Hibernating....for so long?I have no idea what to choose...

Ram Bomjon Ate My Mother!

A bumper sticker as absurd as Ram Bomjon himself

Those who believe in Ram Bomjon are willing to accept any little scrap as evidence that he has magical powers of Buddha world transcendence. That's because Ram Bomjon tells them what they want to hear, and confirms what they want to believe about the world.

Of course, anyone could say anything about Ram Bomjon, and there would be about as much evidence for its truth. For example, I could say that Ram Bomjon ate my mother, and if you followed the same rules of faith that lead to belief in Ram Bomjon, you would have to believe that too.
