Ramen Noodles Recipes

When I hear people talk about ramen noodles, I think of the instant noodles that are individually packaged with a flavor pack. That is our version of ramen noodles, but ramen noodles have a long history.

Ramen noodles has its birthplace in China. After it was introduced in Japan, the Japanese spread the food to other parts of the world.

It was in Japan, that the ramen instant noodles that we are familiar with was invented. Nissin Food Products, founded by Momofuku Ando, was the first company to produce instant noodles and then the cup noodles.

Now, in the United States, the top three brands for instant noodles are Nissin, Maruchan (my personal favorite), and Sapporo (my second favorite). (The Maruchan and Sapporo websites are in Japanese.)

I've just given a very condensed history of the ramen noodle.
