My father my hero

Ranked #1,153 in Relationships & Family, #144,984 overall

Ramon A Limjoco

My dad always my hero. He was one of the first Fighter Pilots recruited and trained by the U.S Army Air Corps during World War II (WWII). His Harrowing stories of what he survived are still easy for him to remember. Dad will be 92 years old this year (2011) and his memory is better than mine!

There isn't anything my dad wouldn't do for me, as such, he is and always will be my hero. My dad is legally blind. I have never heard him complain about the loss of his precious sight. I have only twice heard him moan in frustration. I'm so very proud of him.

Dad I love you so much, always and forever,
Diana

He, like your dad had gone to the US for refresher training at Randoph as well and was from class 42-C PAAC flying school originally. Any information about him would be highly appreciated. His name was Andres "Andy" J. Garcia.
