Odd Ball Mania: It's All Odd

When I was in college I use to write random things then place them anywhere my friends would find them. I made one friend laugh so much they nearly kicked her out of the computer lab. Her laugh was so odd I couldn't help but laugh myself each time she would laugh. This became very addictive.

Another friend took kindly to my quirky little notes and as a gift gave me a blank journal to continue writing more...

1. Swimming into an ocean filled of flower roasted petals on a dark Monday morning is like eating hot sauce off a purple flamingo.

2. Sundays are nothing more nor nothing less than a bag of frozen vegetables boiling in mineral water over and over again.

3. Simple Simon is only simple when the worst of the weather has fallen, but has not destroyed the tunnel.

4. Fingers are only useful if squash can be removed in a unique sweep of the front foot.

5. Sandwiches are not that shabby when they clash with the sustainable doorman.

6. Sandwiches are only as great as the music that floats between the bridges of nowhere on a winter summers day.

7. When the wind is going on and on through the hand of the pink mushroom, shouldn't the toilet flush just as well.

8. Did the baby eat the dingo?

9. Seven happy flamingos flap their fuzzy wings after a night of twisting and turning turnips in their very charming egg salad.

10. When the north window fails to pop a wheel like that on an ancient mango tree depressed by the recent watering can, we must say to ourselves, "No more twisting and turning! No more twisting and turning!"

11. Fungus under the toe nail is like a swimming pancakes bursting into flames for the 5th time without ever having eaten his jellybean.

12. No one finger can ever point to another finger without having days worth of anxiety after the rain.

13. Simply put, if it works fix it

15. Love is an entanglement of pens and notes not yet touching, but seriously considering the idea after a good night of tapping to some funky jazz punk rock.

16. A tongue in the air has left all of us crying like one cries when paper has sliced through our skin one too many times.

17. A wish is not a wish without the rain drops tightening up the skirts of my fellow sportsman.

18. Creating turbulence is not all that difficult if it is done is a way that a banana does not feel the ache as human fingers pull away at its yellow covering.

19. The sound of a cup crashing to the floor blew away any chance the mustard had of mingling with the mayo.

20. I will say this once and only once and then I will say it twice and only twice because I understand you and your ways of making nothing out of something.

21. An orange turned to the dish one day and jumped into the glass.

22. I wonder where the why the ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

People interpret feelings and ideas differently. What one person may see or believe is odd another person may think is childish or annoying? So, while some people may really enjoy this lens and share it with their family and friends other people may think my lens is annoying. Some people may even view this lens and think it isn't odd enough, too dull.

This lens is made of little things I think are odd. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
