rapid fire controller

All my Xbox Wireless Controllers & Mod Kits Provide an added button under the controller which when pressed it will fire as fast as the game will allow, it's as easy as that, Rapid Fire!

It's been designed to do one job and that's to fire as fast as possible !

No daft flashing lights or controlling other buttons
(they are just things to drain your battery faster, cause electrical faults and advertise the fact your using a Mod Chip)

I am the only person in the UK offering this chip with this wiring code for wireless controllers.

Other people have other MODS and use other codes and parts, but I have worked with a team of experts on this to develop this MOD.

This mod adds an extra auto Fire button under your controller and when pressed will empty a full clip of a weapon in under a second

No flashing lights or any other battery draining nonsense, just a hardcore button for a hardcore gamer.
can be used on most games like
COD 4
Unreal Tournament 3
Halo 2/3
Ghost Recon
Rainbow Six
and any other game where you need to shoot really fast!

Please note, as of 12/11/08 COD5 has released a patch that limits the speed of your rapid fire whilst playing COD5 online
No other games are affected and you can still rapid fire at full speed during the offline COD5 game

Step 1: Unscrewing the controller

Remove the 7 screws as shown in the picture (one is under the battery hidden)

Step 2: Prepare the Case

While holding the controller with buttons face down separate the controller apart and remover the circuit board, then with a screwdriver, drill or a pair of scissors make a hole around 5 or 6mm wide as shown in picture.

Step 3: Install the Button

This is the button that changes the speed of the rapid fire and on/off.
Put the button through the hole and put the nut on the outside and tighten it with the pliers. then put the circuit board back on (triggers in first) try to hide the microchip beneath where the motor is plugged in but don't worry if you can't, just unplug and throw away the right motor, it's much better and you won't notice the difference.

Step 4: Preparing the Case Part II

The following is just so you don't crush the wires when you put the case back together. If you have bought your mod from www.xbox-mod.net there is no need to do this as we use specialist thin wire that doesn't get caught.

The top half of the case should look like this (if you kept it upside down) you need to snip out two notches either side of the screw hole.

It should now look like this.

Step 5: Time to Solder

Solder the 3 wires as in the Picture, yellow to the right end in a row of 4 and red to the left end in a row of 4.

Blue (or black) to the middle of 3 pins ,
Please note if you are using a COD 5 compatible kit, the blue wire will be black.
If you are using a new style board (same as the one in the next picture) This is all that needs to be done
and notice were the wires lay on the board marked with arrows, this is important! as most people crush the wires and then it won't work.

Here is a close up view of the solder points.

If you are using an older style controller

Then you will have to attach the 300 Ohm resistor (that should be provided) between the black wire and the pin

If you are using the old style board (notice the Silver rectangle just above the 4 power terminals) You will have to solder the red wire to here instead

Step 6: Finishing Off

Now for the tricky part, while the top cover is still face down (so the buttons don't fall out) take the bottom part and flip it over and hold it just above the top part, the motor will hang down and you will see were it sits in the bottom part, slide it in and then you can close the top and bottom part of the controller together. Be careful not to snap off the SYNC button at this point. now you have it back together you should have a nice fit and you can put the screws back in.

Then put your batteries in and test it on something like COD4 and select the Pistol.

If your new button only fires single shots then turn the controller and the console off, turn the console on by itself, then when a game loads, then you can turn the controller on. that should fix it.

If your new button does nothing at all, then you buggered it up and you need to go back to step 1 and double check everything again.

Rapid Fire controllers aren't really cheating, they just help people achieve the maximum rate of fire allowed by the console.
Most people only use the mods offline and not on Xbox Live
