Free Rare Tabs & Chords Link List
- Gunther Anderson's V - The Fifth Edition
- This is a ginormous cache of chords. From what I can tell from the home page, this one guy did all of these songs. Anderson has everything from Broadway to Disney to classic rock to seriously everything in the world. The site is very basic, great for browsing on your SmartPhone or iPhone. Fav: "Part of Your World" from The Little Mermaid.
- Heartwood Guitar: Free Guitar Tabs, Chords, and Lyrics
- Another well-rounded collection of songs, again, personally tabbed by the site owner, a guitar instructor. Most of these songs you will find on the popular tab sites, but the quality and clarity of each tab makes this Heartwood worth the visit. Fav: "Hey Ya" by Outkast.
- Betty Lou's Guitar Site
- By far my most frequently visited guitar site, Betty Lou has something for everyone. She updates daily with new chords, the majority of which you cannot find anywhere else. The site features a section labeled "??" full of rare gems from Disney, James Bond, Rocky Horror, and more. All of Betty Lou's chords are simplified for the novice player! Fav: "Science Fiction / Double Feature" from The Rocky Horror Picture Show
- Idina Menzel Official Message Board: Sheet Music
- For fans of Broadway and film star Idina Menzel, this is the best resource I've found for her music. A poster on Idina's official message board happens to be a professional musician and has graciously transcribed many Idina hits. Most of the music is transcribed for piano but also contains guitar chords. Other posters contribute within the thread as well. Fav: "Brave" from Here I Stand.
- Classic Country Music Lyrics
- I'm from Mississippi, so I love my Elvis and my classic country. This site has lots of great old songs that you will absolutely not find on UG or 911. Most of the chords are very simple and the site layout is plain but easy to use. Fav: "I'll Be Home For Christmas" by Elvis Presley. I couldn't find simple and accurate chords for this song anywhere else.
- Caltech Christian Fellowship Chordbook
- If you live in the South and ever have to play in church, this is the site you need. Features all the old hymns and traditional Christmas songs. Fav: "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" by Julia Ward Howe.
- All Country Tabs: Judy Garland
- Yeah, it's called All Country Tabs, but they have a big list of Judy Garland tabs, so they're basically awesome. Unfortunately, I can't play a lot of these chords. I'm not quite there yet, but just knowing that this big list of Judy goodness is waiting for me makes me happy in the pants. Fav: "The Man That Got Away" from A Star Is Born.
