Raspberry cobbler is a great summer time dessert. With the raspberry is full bloom during late summer months, you can find fresh raspberry to make this raspberry cobbler recipe. Your whole family will be screaming for more of this great dessert! So go ahead and double the batch below!
We loved to pick raspberries around my house. We would go out and pick them and bring them in for Mom to make a raspberry cobbler out of them. What a treat!

Raspberry Cobbler Recipe
4 cups Raspberries Fresh
1/4 cup Margarine at room temperature
1 1/2 cups Sugar
1/2 cup Milk
1 cup Flour
2 teaspoons Baking powder
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
1/2 cup Water

Simple directions for raspberry cobbler recipe
Raspberry Cobbler Recipe
Preheat oven to 350F.
Line an 8 inch or 9 inch square baking dish with raspberries.
Make batter by mixing margarine, 1/2 cup sugar, milk,flour, baking powder, salt, and vanilla.
Pour batter over fruit and spread evenly.
Mix remaining sugar and water.
Pour over batter.
Bake for 1 hour.
Serve warm with cream, ice cream, or whipped cream.
Serves 8-9
