The cards
Ravnica: City of Guilds features 110 commons, 88 uncommons, 88 rares and 20 basic land cards.

The release
This set was released October the 7th 2005 and became legal for Magic: The Gathering tournaments on October 20th 2005.

The guilds
The biggest feature in the Ravnica block are the guilds. Guilds are a team of 2 colors (so there are 10 possible combinations and thus 10 guilds).
Ravnica: City of Guilds features 4 guilds.
The Boros are red & white.
The Selesnya guild is green and white.
The sneaky Dimir are black and blue.
And the Golgari are black and green.
