As much as we love and cherish our animals cost unfortinatly does come into play for most of us.
When you first start using a raw food diet for your dog it will cost a little bit more. Here's why, because your dog is eating food that has no nutritional value he is seriously lacking nutrition. It will take a little while of feeding him raw food to catch up on the nutrition he is missing. Once he is used to getting raw food for his diet you should only have to feed him one meal a day depending on how big your dog is. So in the long run you will actually be feeding him less food and it will cost less. Another thing to consider is that when your dog is getting the nutrition that he needs his immune system will be much stronger. That means you will have to take your dog to the vet a whole lot less then if he's eating commercial food. Can Your Dogs Diet Contain Any Raw Food?

Dogs have different nutritional needs then we do so if you feed your dog what your nutritional needs are then he wont get everything he needs. Some of the food we eat could actually do your dog more harm then good. Dogs are also not truly carnivorous. They need some vegetables to stay healthy.
