Real Raw Milk or Dead Dairy? Weigh in on the Raw Milk Debate!
Raw milk is real food! Science has yet to improve on the good food nature gives us. It tends to really screw things up when it tries ... saccharin, anyone?
Milk is a food that has been consumed for most of human history and only in recent times, with science "improving" it through pasteurization and homogenization, have health troubles been the result. Even lactose-intolerant people can usually consume raw dairy, due to the proliferation of live enzymes residing within that help the body digest the food!
Studies in the prestigious medical journal The Lancet proved that, contrary to popular and official government opinion, children drinking raw milk have fewer incidences of tuberculosis, not to mention less tooth decay as compared to children drinking pasteurized milk.
So ... YES, WAY! Monkeybrain, the real food is real, raw milk!

- I think you may be right about raw milk - I've read so much about its benefits that if I could get hold of some to try I definitely would. I think I've had it once as a kid but don't remember the taste. The only thing that holds me back (apart from it not being easy to get) is the possible risks. Just when I first got convinced about raw milk I spoke to a dairy farmer who said it was too risky due to brucellosis. And at the time I figured if anyone knew, it would be a dairy farmer! But there is just so much evidence out there for raw milk being the way to go.

- I was raised on cattle ranches and have drank raw milk in many forms. The wonderful thing abou Raw Milk is that it doesn't rott like paturized milk. It sours instead. Using Raw Milk I have made butter with sweet cream, butter with soured cream, cottage cheese, cultured butter milk, yogurt, and keifer. These all sour nicely with raw milk.

- Way to go! I started my baby on raw milk and the whole family has been drinkink it for a couple months now. It is so fine and fresh tasting, and it has so much more nutritional value!
