In 1976 Mr Raymond Weil founded his watch making company, this was at the same time the swiss watchmaking industry was in turmoil due to the revolutionary quartz movement which makes most swiss movement watches obsolete due to the accuracy of the quartz movement.
In 1983 he released the Amadeus collection named after the famous Austrian composer, this is followed in 1986 by the Othello collection. In 1991 he launches his flagship collection "Parsifal" which has eye catching designs, advanced technology and quality materials. In 1995 saw the release of the Tango collection which were suitable for all tastes and occasions, the release of the W1 collection saw the more sporty look.
