C'mon Home. Riverbend TEC brings teens and adults together in Christ
We all get so busy in our day to day grind, that it's easy to just wander away from faith.
You miss a mass, here and there. It doesn't feel so bad.
You then miss a month of church. You feel a little guilty, but have enjoyed getting caught up on sleep.
Or maybe you experience the death of a loved one or a tragedy so great, you even blame God for it.
Regardless of the reason you went away, like meandering sheep, sometimes you need a reminder that you're welcomed back to the flock.
My Riverbend TEC experience was just that, for me - A reminder that you can go home again.

Dance With God
I just followed.
You see, my friend, Jerry invited me to be his dance partner for a speech on how his relationship with God is like a dance. Lead & Follow.
I just went to follow.
But through the course of the very first day, I realized I was quite there on purpose. For a reason. I was surrounded by the people I needed at that exact moment.
All weekend long, there were laughs, cries, words, prayers, movement, that let me know I was there for a reason. It was freeing, healing, encouraging, loving.
