When Looking At The Same Color Does Everyone Have The Same Reaction?
Does color have magical powers? Psychologist have known for a long time that specific colors produce emotional responses in the viewer. Among other qualities, colors seem to have a psychological temperature.
Reaction to color has become important enough that many people have made their careers of designing color schemes for the home, office and even the subway. Some stylists base their service on their knowledge and understanding of the color wheel. Other stylists with more advanced training and knowledge, base their services on the relationship of color to human reaction.
In 1922, Benito Mussolini, marched into Rome with 22,000 men in black shirts. Once in power Mussolini continued to wear black, but also added a silk top hat to his attire.
While at this time black was the color of Fascism, green was the color of pacifism. The long white robes and hoods worn by America's Ku Klux Klan, was the color of a fanatical, racially and religiously intolerant group.
White was also the color of khadi, a hand spun, hand woven cotton cloth worn by India's Mohandas K. (Mahatma) Gandhi. He worn this as an anti British gesture, for which he was imprisoned for in 1922. To Gandhi, Tailored clothing and the cotton manufacturing mills in England signified political oppression. India wanted independence from England and this oppression.
Turkey's president, Mustafa Kemal (Ataturk) viewed Western clothing as crucial in his country's modernization program. Women were discouraged from wearing the traditional veil of Islam, which covered their face. It became a criminal offense for men to wear the fez, a hat that symbolized Islamic orthodoxy.

Events Can Shape Our Reaction To Color.
Why Do You DisLike That Color?
There are many events that shape our lives, often these significant events have a certain color associated with them. Your favorite teacher worn a particular color that you now associate with a good feeling. We don't remember these events consciously. But on an unconscious level these events can cause us to prefer one color over another.Though our experiences are individual we have much in common with others. Most people in similar social and economic environments have the same experiences and learn the same responses. In some regions of California homes and buildings are painted in pastel colors. Homes and buildings in the east aren't painted in pastel colors. Each region has their own preference for color along with their own color symbols.
Everyone Has A Favorite Color
How A Color Feels Is More Important Than How It Looks.
Experiments have been conducted on how color effect us in different situations. Studies found that color can induce moods, create excitement and have a healing effect on us. The influence of color upon the human spirit should be taken into consideration when selecting colors for decorating our homes, the clothing we wear and everyday life.

Waechtersbach Fun Factory 16-Piece Dinnerware Set, Service for 4Go for color when you choose Waechtersbach Fun Factory dinnerware. Brilliant colors and great shapes mean you get fashion at a value. This 16-piece place setting includes 4 each of the 10.75-inch dinner plate, 8-1/4-inch salad/dessert plate, 5-3/4-inch cereal bowl and 8-ounce caffe latte. All pieces are high fired ceramic earthenware that are dishwasher safe. Mix and match with other trendy Waechtersbach colors and accessories to make a table all your own.
These plates are made in Germany by a company that has been in business for over 150 years. Why buy cheap stuff at Target that is made in China, that could very well be full of lead. The pieces are very stylish and attractive, yet simple and quite functional. I love the shade of blue; it is not too bright and garish, and dark without being too dark. The glaze is very even and of a high quality. I definitely recommend these dishes.

Lodge Logic Enamel Cast Iron Dutch Oven, 6-QuartThe 6 Quart enamel Dutch oven is great for cooking, marinating, and freezing. Lodge color porcelain enamel on cast iron cookware is cast from molten iron in individual sand molds. The porcelain surface eliminates the need to season cast iron.
The cast iron vessel has superior heat distribution and retention, evenly heating bottom, sidewalls, and even the lid. Two layers of very hard, glossy porcelain enamel are chip resistant and easy to clean. Hygienic porcelain enamel is non-reactive with food.
Knob is oven safe to 400 degrees. Tightly fitting lid seals in moisture and the excellent heat retention reduces the amount of energy needed for cooking. Hand washing with warm soapy water is recommended to preserve the cookware's original appearance. 10 3/4" diameter, 4 1/2" deep. Emerald green
"I love my Lodge Enamel Dutch Ovens and the enamel on the cast. The enamel makes for a more versatile pot than regular cast. You can cook acidic foods in the enamel that can hurt the finish on your regular cast. You can also store in the enamel pot. When you are finished, just stick the pot in the refrigerator.
"Cleanup is easy. Just wash out with soap and water. For stubborn stains, just add a little bleach with water and let soak. For stubborn stuck on foods, just boil some water with baking soda and it should loosen up. Scrub with a nylon scrubbie."
"The green is a beautiful color but you can choose from several colors in the Lodge line to compliment your kitchen. Cast is so good for even cooking and heat retention. It's a great addition to your kitchen and one you will treasure for years to come." D. Dorsey "Mom to 2 Boys"
"I was blown away by the flavor. I've cooked a lot of years, but I never realized that cookware can actually make such an enormous difference. Used the same recipe
I've made for years, but the flavor was improved 2 or 3 times (really)."

Russell Athletic Men's Short Sleeve Dri-Power Tee"These shirts are great. They are light weight and come out of the dryer looking perfect. They don't take up much space in the drawer and are cool on hot days. They don't wrinkle and the color does not fade. These are ideal easy care work out shirts." Rebecca Simmons
"Lightweight, durable, wrinkle-free, and very comfortable to wear. Wicks moisture away quickly too. Colors don't fade. I've had a couple of these shirts for about 3 years and they still look great."
"The Russell logos and tagless label do fade away (or partially fade) so it may make it difficult to figure out which is the front and back of the shirt. However, it's no big deal." B. Eagle107

- I absolutely think color has a direct connection with our emotions. I would paint all the walls in my home green, if only my family would let me. But I guess they have their own emotions to consider, bah.

- My favorite color is purple. I love green for deep, symbolic reasons. As I've gotten older, I've come to love orange - - couldn't have cared less about it before! To me, it's a fun, creative color. And I like calming, earthy tones in my home.
