Give Your Child a Head Start!
It is never to late to start reading to your child though! Most children like it just because mommy or daddy is spending quality time with them when they are reading, plus you open up a whole new world to them!
You also help your child to speak, read, and so much more! There really are no down sides to reading to your child! Here are some great suggestions to get you started on the right foot!
Unconditional Love
Teach your child the meaning of loving them unconditionally!

A Story of a child asking his/her mother "Mama, what if I were a big scary Ape? Would you still love me then? and Mama replies: "If you were a big, scary ape, I would comb your whole hairy self to make sure you didn't have any tangles. And I would make your birthday cake our of bananas, and I would tell you, I love you my big, scary ape."
It has very good illustrations and the child could be either a boy or a girl! Vey imaginative, and gives you a chance to teach them that you will love them unconditionally.
