I have been doing online reading tutoring for over ten years, and I can help you, your child, or your loved one. Everything is individualized and private. This is my business, and I have numerous paying clients, but I try to help two people who could not otherwise afford assistance. This is one place I advertise this service.
I also keep a waiting list, so if you need the free help, just sign up. I'll let you know if there is an open spot or if you have been added to my waiting list. You'll want to get your name in early to get help as quickly as possible.

A little about my background and credentials
About twenty years ago, I "retired" to raise my family, and got involved in private tutoring. A few years after that, I began teaching online as well as in person. This business has been growing and I've helped many, many kids and adults.
It's time now to "give back" to the communities that I'm a part of. Here in my local area, I'm working to start a literacy group to help adults read better. Online, I'm offering to help two students at a time for free. If you (or someone you know and love) needs help with reading, just drop me a note. No need to be embarrassed, and no need to worry about money. I can help! I hope you'll drop me a note.

Keeping Up with the Tutor...
I currently see 24 children and 23 adults for literacy or other academic help in person. I have 3 students enrolled in my reading class and 6 in my writing class. I'm helping one person with literacy through my free program. Don't hesitate to sign up, though, because things change in a hurry!

- I have a 9 yr old who has a problem with sounding out words so he tends to skip over them which causes him to fail almost all of his reading tests this year. How can I get him to sound the words out or help him with comprehension? My email address is tinalouise@jetbroadband.com

- Hello, my son Terry is 10yrs. and he is having trouble in reading, comprehension, sounding out words and writing. And i feel like it getting worse as he gets older. I'm afraid for him, because now that he is in 4th. grade he has to take the isat test and do not believe that he going to pass. Please if there is anything that you can do to help me i would greatly appreciate it.

- I really need help for my 12 year old son who was retained in fifth grade this year. This is his second time staying back and I'm afraid of him giving up due to his low FCAT scores the school is telling they can't help. I tried looking for resources but I can't afford them. I'm a single underemployed mom who don't want my son to fall through the cracks. If you can help us we will be forever gratful.
