So what's the Hype about Affiliate Marketing: Is it real?

Many of us are new to the whole "Make Money Online" business, many of us have no prior knowledge of internet marketing or even just marketing in general.

Internet marketing through affiliate marketing, in it's simplest form is just aligning online customers with online merchants that have a product or service for sale where you as an affiliate take the stance as the middle man. We may know that this is done "offline" everyday, but is it done online as well? It sure is my friend! Welcome to the world of e-commerce.

I'm sure that the majority of us have been scammed before or at the least, have known someone that has been scammed by some "get rich quick" idea or some "work from home" business.

The problem is, is that there IS no "get rich quick" method, and as far as the "work from home" business, this one is true and false. Let me explain. It is possible for you to work from home online to make money, only do not be taken by anyone offering you an online "job". Instead, look for resources to aid you in creating your OWN job.

You may ask "Is it really that simple?", and the short answer is "No". Regardless of what anyone may tell you, for the average person success in this industry, or any industry for that matter, is no overnight deal. It takes hard work and determination and is not for everyone.

FIND A HOME. I cannot stress this enough. Especially if you are new to the industry. Getting started on the right foot is priority #1 and you are going to need help. Join an reputable affiliate community so that you have access to all the resources that you need to get started.
