What a weekend in sports.

T.O. spit on a D'Angelo Hall and admitted doing it on live televison right after the game. He did it because Hall kept taunting him and he wanted him to stop. T.O. never said if it stopped or not. T.O. said that T.O. had a great game.

And the big fight at Madison Square Garden. It wasn't boxing, but the game between the Knicks and the Denver Nuggets.

I'm sure over the next sveral days, as the fines and suspensions are discussed, every sportswriter will talk about how bad it is for the game.
Bad sportsmanship - Yes. Bad for the game - NO.

Would you bother watching a Knicks vs Nuggets game? Probably not. But if you knew there was bad blood between them- Definatly!

I'm sorry, but the average sports fan like to see a brawl every now and again. It's a guilty pleasure, like pizza when your on a diet.

These guys are only a few yers removed from Defending themselves on a court in their neighborhood.

Finally, a silver medalist in the Aisan Games was stripped of her medal when she failed a gender test. It appears that SHE was really a HE.

HE only got a Silver medal in the 800 Meters. HE lost to a girl.
